1)      What you put in…

This has to do with the quality and quantity of what you put in your mouth.  There are an untold number of books talking about the quality of what you eat.  There is the no-fat diet, the good-fat diet, the protein-diet, the veggie-diet, the no-carb diet, and on and on.

We’ll break this down for you so that you can take the guessing about which diet is best for you. If you’ve done enough research, you will see that there are some common threads about what to put in your mouth and what not to put in your mouth.

It’s easy to know what to put in your mouth and what not to put in your mouth, but its an entirely different thing to do it.  Did you know that if you reduce your caloric intake by 30% you will live 30% longer and healthier?

Sounds good doesn’t it!  But what happens when you feel that emptiness inside?  You know that feeling that makes you want to reach for the bag of chips, or the ice cream, or the chocolate, or the crackers and cheese?

2) What Happens When Its In You?

This has to do with your metabolism.  I’m sure you know some people who can eat whatever they want and  never gain a pound.  They have a “high metabolism”

Or have you eaten only good food, and exercised, but still didn’t make any significant progress in losing weight?  Maybe you noticed as soon as you reached a certain age, the weight started sticking and gaining slowly.

This is because your metabolism has slowed down. There are a variety of factors that will cause this.  We look at your body types and general overall health with that we can then develop an appropriate wellness plan you can follow.

Non-needle treatments like acupressure, health recovery chips, auricular therapy treatment are some of the most effective ways to increase your metabolism.

(But it doesn’t always happen quickly. If your metabolism gradually slows down, there is an internal reason for that, and it won’t get kicked into high gear overnight – it may take some time).

3)      What you put out.

This has to do with the energy that you expend.  Do you under-exercise?  Do you over-exercise?

The whole point of putting gas in your tank is so that your car can get you from A to B.  The same is with any living or moving thing.  Energy is put in, so that energy can be expended.  Some people over produce.  So they are burning too much energy.  And they can still put on weight if they do this.  The reason for this is because their bodies are much depleted in essential nutrients and energy.  Therefore, your body will try to hold onto everything you put into it.  This usually develops into the pattern of holding energy stores within fat cells.

Many people have put out a ton of energy in aerobic classes only to find that they barely lost any weight.  Does this sound familiar?  The reason for this is that in this case it actually isn’t healthy for your body to expend that kind of energy.  Because your internal organs don’t have the energy to begin with.  So your body will do its best to hold energy in fat cells, no matter how much you sweat and move.
